My Story
I'm Megan, a film & digital wedding photographer based in Maryland. My love for photographing started a while ago but I didn't take too many photos until I found myself living on the west coast. Experiencing new places had me wanting to document everything, from the places I was visiting to the amazing landscapes that were everywhere I turned (and suddenly I had a new love for traveling, too)!
While in college working on my degree in Fine Art Photography, I started a business that grew into serving clients who were just as passionate about the things I am, like nature, artful design, history, the value of timeless looking images, and capturing couples for who they are as people and the raw, real moments between them.
This is what I am about and what I love. There aren't any techniques or special tricks; it's just the magic that happens when you bring people together and make something beautiful.

I stand for the romantics and old souls at heart who value family, friends, the authentic and intimate, and who occasionally have a taste for adventure! When it comes to their wedding day, they have a unique vision true to who they are, full of intention and details, and are ready to create lasting memories with everyone around them.
I believe in capturing your day as it was, from the romantic moments to the wild nights, in the most natural and fun ways; beautiful candids, sometimes posed, but all the while true to you. This is your story and celebration that is just beginning!
Philosophy
What to Expect
There may be a year or so from your initial inquiry to delivering your wedding gallery, but throughout this process, what I enjoy most is getting to know my couples for who they are, being a positive light on their wedding day, and assisting them in any way I can to ensure their best day ever truly is one to remember.
I'm a hybrid photographer, meaning I shoot with both digital and film, and love bringing both of these mediums into sessions and wedding days to create timeless, luminous, beautifully colored images that continue to glow through generations.
Each wedding collection includes at least 8 hours of coverage, an engagement session, second photographer, and an online gallery that can be shared and downloaded.
