Visiting the memorials in Washington D.C. is always a treat and even more so when two wonderful people get to join you. I so loved capturing these moments for Kate and Hayes to remember their engagement by! We spent the evening walking around the Lincoln Memorial and a few other peaceful spots in the city they call home all while catching the sun as it continued setting below the sky…
I somehow never really made it to SoCal when I lived in the Sacramento area a few years ago, and when the opportunity came up to travel there in March of 2020, I said yes in an instant. On my first day in San Diego, I met up with one of my past couples at […]
On a day that felt more like a summer one than fall (it was probably nearing 75 degrees in late November!) I met up with Zoe, Hunter, and their adorable pups for a session at Adkins Arboretum, one of my favorite nature spots on the Eastern Shore. They are planning to get married later this […]
It’s still hard to believe we have a semi normal summer at all, yet through the hard times comes a light, and I’m so happy so many of us can be back doing the things we love! Samantha and Billy’s engagement session was the best way to get back to work, and spending the evening […]
You always get excited when a family member get’s engaged, and when they ask you to photograph their wedding, it is so hard to say no, especially when they have been one of your biggest supporters from the beginning of your business journey. Being around two people who have such a love for each other brings so much joy, which was especially the case for Hope and Tyler, and I’m so happy their path together joined with my own!
As it usually goes, no one really decides when love comes their way, and most people definitely aren’t expecting it on spring break in a place like Daytona Beach! Nonetheless, it’s where Hope and Tyler met, spent their vacation week together, and decided to pursue a long distance relationship. As Hope says, it was just one of those “when you know, you know” moments, and after her college graduation, she took the leap and moved to Texas to be with Tyler. They’ve been together ever since!
It was really special moment, knowing their story, and finally meeting them to photograph their engagement session. There are so many kinds of love that exist in the world, and those who go the distance, sticking by each other through thick and thin, truly reminds us that love really does conquer all.
