An Intimate Wedding on the Miles River: Kellen & Luke

The closest I will ever get to a real Disney Princess is Kellen, channeling Cinderella in her custom made white and blue gray tulle gown, who coincidentally works as a graphic designer for Disney in California! Her artistic attention for detail didn’t go unnoticed for her and filmmaker fiancé Luke’s intimate wedding day at the Miles River Yacht Club in St. Michaels, Maryland.

With less than 30 guests, Kellen and Luke said “I do” in front of the Miles River, two words that almost had to be postponed to a later date as Luke unexpectedly found himself undergoing surgery only three days prior to the wedding! Lucky with only a minor situation, he received the okay from the doctor to continue with the wedding festivities.

Luke is one of three brothers who are all comedians in their own right, and with one brother as their officiant, naturally you can expect there were jokes about how it was nice Luke could show up for his own ceremony all things considered!

The day ended with a pink, summer glow, and as I took the newlyweds down to the dock for portraits, a ship full of tourists cheered for them as they sailed by. The perfect ending to this modern fairytale day.
