Visiting the memorials in Washington D.C. is always a treat and even more so when two wonderful people get to join you. I so loved capturing these moments for Kate and Hayes to remember their engagement by! We spent the evening walking around the Lincoln Memorial and a few other peaceful spots in the city they call home all while catching the sun as it continued setting below the sky…
I somehow never really made it to SoCal when I lived in the Sacramento area a few years ago, and when the opportunity came up to travel there in March of 2020, I said yes in an instant. On my first day in San Diego, I met up with one of my past couples at […]
On a day that felt more like a summer one than fall (it was probably nearing 75 degrees in late November!) I met up with Zoe, Hunter, and their adorable pups for a session at Adkins Arboretum, one of my favorite nature spots on the Eastern Shore. They are planning to get married later this […]
It’s still hard to believe we have a semi normal summer at all, yet through the hard times comes a light, and I’m so happy so many of us can be back doing the things we love! Samantha and Billy’s engagement session was the best way to get back to work, and spending the evening […]
You always get excited when a family member get’s engaged, and when they ask you to photograph their wedding, it is so hard to say no, especially when they have been one of your biggest supporters from the beginning of your business journey. That’s why when Lindsay and Scott told me they had to have […]
Not only are Jennifer and Harrison perfect for each other, they are also some of the kindest, coolest couples I’ve been able to photograph. Being high school sweethearts, artists, and avid adventurers, I found a special connection to them that made me so grateful they found their way to me. After popping the question on a trip to Assateague Island, and in the middle of planning a cross-country RV trip, Jennifer and Harrison knew they had to get a roll on their wedding planning. Luckily, I don’t think their visions could have come to life any more beautifully. Jennifer added a special touch to a lot of her wedding decor by building most of it on her own, including the table decor, a few cocktail hour games, and even their wedding arch!
Harrison had plans of his own though, and without Jennifer knowing, he contacted me a few weeks before the wedding to tell me about a really cute surprise. They had planned on getting another dog after their wedding, but Harrison decided he was going to surprise Jennifer with a puppy during the reception! The little guy definitely was a surprise, and seeing Jennifer’s reaction was completely worth it. They ended up naming him River, a little tribute to the Chester River they had just been married on. Such a beautiful day for this amazing couple who have so many exciting moments ready to come their way.
