It’s always special to be a part of a wedding day, but even more so when you have a little history with the Bride and Groom! Granted, Jason and I didn’t meet until the morning of their wedding day, but Justina and I got our start a few years back when we worked together! There’s […]
After months of planning, everything came together perfectly for Casey & Shane’s Eastern Shore wedding at Kent Manor Inn. Pops of corals and pinks from the flowers in Casey’s bouquet to the delicate details of their wedding cake hinted at the last, lingering days of summer, while the sun streamed through the trees, gently coating […]
Spending the evening shooting Sam & Billy’s engagement session was the perfect way to end the weekend. We walked all around the property they live on in Centreville, soaking up the evening sun and enjoying having it all to ourselves (minus the 5 or so deer we jumped, and while we’re at it the birds, […]
A cloudy day turned into a pretty pastel sky while the water moved calmly below the little 1960’s hand built sailboat. Maddy and Will met a couple years prior during a night out in downtown Annapolis. The two instantly connected, chatting for the rest of the night and soon after officially become a couple. After […]
Waking up at sunrise isn’t the first thing on my mind (it never is at all), but when it comes to shooting an engagement session at a popular D.C. spot like Meridian Hill Park, it isn’t even a question! Even though the sun decided not to come out, it was still worth waking up early […]
Remember the high school dances that everyone went to, whether it was just with a group of friends or with a date? Well, that’s how it all started for Leah and Casey, who met nine years ago at the homecoming dance and instantly hit it off. They would start dating a year afterwards, becoming an […]
Waking up at sunrise isn’t the first thing on my mind (it never is at all), but when it comes to shooting an engagement session at a popular D.C. spot like Meridian Hill Park, it isn’t even a question! Even though the sun decided not to come out, it was still worth waking up early to have the grounds mostly to ourselves. Jessica told me about how she really wanted to included some architectural elements in her and Brian’s engagement session, which naturally I agreed was absolutely a good idea. What better place within an hour from our homes here on the Eastern Shore?
Funny enough, Jessica and Brian went to the same high school together (along with me!) and even grew up in the same neighborhood as each other but didn’t connect until a few years after graduating from school. They are just one of those couples you can look at and feel their connection and it makes me so happy to know they found each other (even though they never had to look too far)!
I can’t wait to photograph them all over again next year when they come back to Maryland to make it all official!! Cheers!
