I somehow never really made it to SoCal when I lived in the Sacramento area a few years ago, and when the opportunity came up to travel there in March of 2020, I said yes in an instant. On my first day in San Diego, I met up with one of my past couples at […]
On a day that felt more like a summer one than fall (it was probably nearing 75 degrees in late November!) I met up with Zoe, Hunter, and their adorable pups for a session at Adkins Arboretum, one of my favorite nature spots on the Eastern Shore. They are planning to get married later this […]
It’s still hard to believe we have a semi normal summer at all, yet through the hard times comes a light, and I’m so happy so many of us can be back doing the things we love! Samantha and Billy’s engagement session was the best way to get back to work, and spending the evening […]
You always get excited when a family member get’s engaged, and when they ask you to photograph their wedding, it is so hard to say no, especially when they have been one of your biggest supporters from the beginning of your business journey. That’s why when Lindsay and Scott told me they had to have […]
A ceremony in your families backyard on the Chesapeake Bay, a party right next to it to follow and one amazing day all around. Allison and Drew made the trip from their home in Texas to celebrate their big day and I couldn’t be more honored to have photographed it all! From initially meeting them in December of 2017 to shoot their engagement session, I knew they were my kind of people – just the SWEETEST, super fun and funny and all around amazing.
Even though they only lived a few streets away from each other, Allison and Drew didn’t start dating until they were both in college – Allison in New Jersey and Drew in London. After doing long distance for a couple years, Drew finally got down on one knee, handing Allison a letter he wrote for her after they first started dating. He wrote then how he knew Allison was the one and that he was going to marry her one day!
I’m so thankful for these two people and having let me be a part of it all. I’m wishing you two a lifetime of happiness – and you both better be back in Maryland soon!
